Plitvice Lakes National Park
Plitvice Lakes National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the country’s biggest attraction outside of the Adriatic Coast. The park consists of a series of waterfalls connecting 16 beautiful lakes. The park is furnished with wooden footbridges from which one can view its lakes, waterfalls, caves, blossoming meadows, and even a gorge that resembles the Grand Canyon.
