Telč

Telč

Telč is situated in the southwest corner of the Bohemian-Moravian highlands. Telč began to grow in the middle of the 14th century near the midpoint of an ancient provincial route leading from Vienna to Prague. The heart of the town was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992. Houses built by ordinary townspeople stand side by side with buildings of the church and aristocracy.
