In the “How to Spend It” section of the Financial Times, award-winning British journalist and traveler Sophy Roberts writes about border crossings on her custom, private journey to Siberia and Mongolia this past winter, created with the help of MIR. Accompanied by MIR founder Douglas Grimes, Roberts applauded MIR (and other like-minded tour companies) for their efforts to make even the most complicated routes easier for intrepid travelers.
