A recent article in Brides Magazine spotlighted spectacular St. Petersburg, Russia in its round-up of “Lucky Spots Around the World to Visit During Your Honeymoon.” The article quotes MIR Vice President, Annie Lucas, who offered her pick for a must-see spot in the city for newlyweds, the Potseluev, or “Kiss Bridge,” near St. Issac’s Cathedral:

“Newlyweds are supposed to kiss and walk at the same time across the bridge (or drive), the longer kiss – the longer their happiness. This bridge isn’t a draw bridge, like so many others in the city are, and thus this bridge symbolizes union.”
